What a tour looks like
The room your child would join
You will walk through the classroom your child would join. Look at what sits on the shelves and how the room is set up for the day. If the weather allows, step outside and see the outdoor space too.
The teachers
You will meet the teacher who runs the room and the director, Debra Sparks Allison. Ask how a day runs, from arrival to pickup. Ask how they handle the first weeks, when a child is still settling in.
Your questions
Ask about hours, meals, pickups, and tuition. Ask anything else that matters to your family. If we do not know an answer on the spot, we follow up with you afterward.
Before you come
Come see the room where your child will spend Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Bring your child along so they can meet the teacher and look around at their own pace. Children from 2. 5 to 5 years are at home here, and a visit is the easiest way for your family to get a feel for the day before you decide.
Come with your questions ready. Ask about hours and pickup, meals and rest, and how the first weeks are handled. Ask how parents hear about the day, and what happens when a child is unwell. Our program runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, for ages 2. 5 to 5 years.
